TL;DR
Data Steward (Energy Data Management): Supporting engineering and product data migration to PLM360/S4HANA while clarifying gas turbine, steam turbine, and generator spare parts with an accent on data quality, parts identification, and process harmonization. Focus on validating large and incomplete datasets, identifying orderable parts and alternatives, and developing digital solutions for spare parts management.

Location: Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico; full-time, onsite.

What you will do

  • Support and validate the migration of engineering and product data to the PLM360/S4HANA platform, including source-system analysis, transformation requirements, data mapping, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with Data Migration, Data Readiness, Integration, business, and IT teams to ensure complete and accurate data.
  • Provide technical clarification for gas turbine, steam turbine, and generator spare parts and spare parts lists supporting quoting, ordering, and logistics.
  • Identify orderable parts and alternatives, locate material master numbers, and assist with material master data updates.
  • Support digitalization, automation, data harmonization, process improvements, and adoption of new ways of working.

Requirements

  • Entry-level profile with a maximum of 2 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role such as Field Service Engineer or Commissioning Engineer.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach, organized working style, initiative, clear communication, and strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and independently.

Nice to have

  • Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators in product design, service engineering, or order management.
  • Experience with Mendix, SAP, Snowflake, Tableau or Power BI, and/or Alteryx.
  • German language skills.
