Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Research, design, and develop advanced machine learning systems using large-scale datasets.
• Build and deploy online, scalable models and tools using machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and modern LLM frameworks.
• Lead projects from translating complex business questions into technical strategies through production deployment.
• Build, monitor, and optimize resilient production workflows while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, analysts, and developers on complex problems.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist solving complex business problems with state-of-the-art algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
• High-level software engineering expertise and a strong record of deploying, maintaining, and scaling models in production environments.
• Ability to translate vague business questions into testable hypotheses, build experiment infrastructure, and draw rigorous conclusions.
• Experience working with billions of records and big-data frameworks such as Spark, Ray, Dask, or Airflow.
• Proven experience building and optimizing applied recommendation systems.
• Fluency with modern AI coding tools and practices such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot, with willingness to use them in daily work.
• Experience leading machine learning projects and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional verbal and written English is required for frequent communication with worldwide colleagues and partners.

Nice to have

• Experience building applications with modern AI and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
• Experience with LLM observability, evaluation, and tracing frameworks such as Langfuse.
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Weights & Biases, or SageMaker, and feature stores such as Feast or Tecton.
