Applied Science Team Lead (AI)

Location: Remote, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of applied scientists while setting technical direction and research standards.
• Design and build AI models and intelligent systems for cybersecurity products covering Posture, Detection, and CTI.
• Own initiatives from customer-driven problem discovery and solution design through experimentation, prototyping, and production deployment.
• Develop and optimize LLMs, advanced machine learning models, and multi-agent workflows.
• Influence the AI product roadmap and contribute to long-term technical strategy across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an applied researcher with proven production-level impact.
• Proven experience leading, training, and developing applied scientists or data scientists.
• Hands-on expertise in research, modeling, coding, and production machine learning systems.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
• Experience with Transformers, open-source LLMs, advanced deep learning architectures, and training large language models using supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with modern machine learning frameworks and tooling.
