Senior Research Scientist (Sovereign AI)

What you will do

• Take AI research from open-ended problem definition to a working, deployable capability.
• Define success criteria, develop data and methods, and run rigorous experiments.
• Work with scarce data and noisy labels on problems without established playbooks.
• Collaborate with engineering through deployment while measuring quality and efficiency beyond benchmark scores.
• Resolve technical blockers, adapt approaches when experiments fail, and contribute through technical reviews and mentoring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on AI/ML research and development with substantial ownership of multiple end-to-end projects.
• Deep research expertise supported by an MSc, PhD, or equivalent research accomplishments.
• Strong implementation skills in Python and PyTorch or JAX.
• Direct experience turning raw data into training and evaluation pipelines.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems, make technical decisions, and deliver independently.
• Deep expertise in at least one research track: agents, NLP, vision and audio, or machine learning.
