Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and document software solutions for site reliability challenges.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Monitor and resolve issues across environments while maintaining SLO and uptime targets.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers on reliability concerns during feature design and deployment.
• Support local development environments on macOS and Windows using Docker Desktop.
• Perform capacity planning, demand forecasting, change management, SLO reporting, security improvements, and SRE scrum activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience with TypeScript and Go, with equivalent experience in other programming languages accepted.
• Exceptional full-stack troubleshooting skills focused on system-level issues and strong problem-solving ability.
• Expertise in configuration management systems and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Strong understanding of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, cloud hosting platforms, CI/CD workflows, monitoring, alerting, self-healing, and escalation processes.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with AWS, including Amazon RDS, EKS, and CloudWatch; Google Cloud and Azure experience is also valued.
• Ability to support Docker Desktop on macOS and Windows, work in an agile scrum team, communicate effectively, protect data integrity, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• AWS SysOps or Solutions Architect certification.
