Product Manager, AI Gateway

Location: Remote in the United States; listed locations are San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. hirify.global has offices in Seattle and Paris.

Salary: $280,000–$300,000 per year plus equity in the United States.

What you will do

• Own the AI Gateway product strategy, vision, roadmap, prioritization, and success measures.
• Work with developers, AI teams, platform engineers, security stakeholders, inference providers, and customers to validate needs and guide investment.
• Simplify secure onboarding from launching a sandbox and authenticating through connecting an agent, selecting a model, and completing a first useful task.
• Partner with engineering and design on APIs, CLI tools, administration experiences, documentation, AI coding tool integrations, and model compatibility.
• Define enterprise identity, access management, credential protection, policy enforcement, auditability, traffic balancing, routing, fallback, usage visibility, budgets, and inference cost optimization.
• Write product requirements, make tradeoffs, drive launches, and partner with customer-facing and go-to-market teams on onboarding, positioning, release readiness, and learning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including experience building developer tools, infrastructure, security, or platform products.
• Demonstrated success taking a product from concept to launch, including validating customer demand, defining initial scope, and driving adoption after release.
• Strong technical background through software engineering experience or ownership of deeply technical products; ability to evaluate API designs, understand system architecture, and make informed engineering tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and agent workflows, including an informed perspective on secure agent access to models, tools, and data.
• Strong product judgment and analytical skills, with experience using customer research and product data to prioritize investments and measure results.
• Excellent written communication and cross-functional leadership, including alignment of engineering, design, and go-to-market teams around strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
