C-sUAS Trainer

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations for up to 6 weeks, typically 1–2 weeks; travel up to 50%

Supports a Department of Defense customer through C-sUAS training and fielding activities.

What you will do

• Develop and review Program of Instruction (POI) and Training Support Package (TSP) materials and review technical manuals for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct formal classroom and hands-on instruction on fielded C-sUAS systems and evaluate student understanding through practical exercises.
• Conduct site surveys and data collection for the direct requirement fielding of C-sUAS systems.
• Operate and maintain testing, data collection, and training equipment for site surveys, New Equipment Fielding (NEF), and New Equipment Training (NET).
• Brief teams and program managers on site surveys, system installations, NEF/NET status, and after-action reviews.
• Plan site survey, NEF, and NET events, including schedules, resources, personnel, unit support requirements, and facilities.

Requirements

• Active and transferable DoD SECRET security clearance with a current investigation, with the ability to maintain clearance requirements.
• Current U.S. passport.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience with DoD Air and Missile Defense systems or a related complex DoD weapon system of systems.
• Experience with Command and Control (C2) operations.
• Experience writing technical documents, preparing professional presentations, and developing training aids and instructional material.
• Experience conducting formal classroom instruction and student evaluations.
• High adaptability to learn C-sUAS at the Subject Matter Expert level and ability to act decisively with minimal oversight.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations for extended assignments.

Nice to have

• Military or equivalent instructor certification.
• Formal instructor course certification and instructor platform experience.
