Senior Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Mexico; hybrid working environment with some in-office and/or in-person expectations.

What you will do

• Own and improve Global Order Fulfillment reporting, KPI analysis, performance visibility, and executive insights.
• Support quarterly, annual, and quarter-end revenue forecasting, reconciliation, variance analysis, and risk and opportunity communication.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for backlog health, shipment execution, lead time, revenue attainment, and other fulfillment outcomes.
• Use Excel, Power BI, SQL, AI, and approved enterprise tools to analyze data, automate recurring work, and create scalable reporting solutions.
• Support AI-enabled analytics and workflow initiatives by preparing knowledge sources, configuring and grounding agents, creating prompts and reusable skills, testing outputs, and documenting use cases.
• Lead or support analytics and process-improvement projects, standardize processes, improve data quality, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience as a data analyst, business analyst, financial analyst, business intelligence analyst, analytics engineer, or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel experience, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, advanced formulas, data models, structured quality checks, and complex dataset reconciliation; VBA is beneficial.
• Practical Power BI proficiency in data preparation, modeling, DAX calculations, visualization, and creating or enhancing user-focused reports.
• Experience with financial or operational reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, reconciliation, and quarter-end or period-end processes.
• Working knowledge of SQL and the ability to query, combine, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI, copilots, AI agents, or similar tools for business use cases, reusable prompts or skills, output evaluation, and solution documentation.
• Project execution skills covering requirements definition, planning, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, stakeholder coordination, and status communication.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analyses, scalable processes, and practical recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, prioritization, independent learning, problem-solving, and effective work across business and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring, grounding, testing, or governing enterprise AI agents using Abacus, Microsoft Copilot, or a comparable platform.
• Experience in supply chain, order fulfillment, revenue operations, sales operations, or finance in a hardware, software, or high-technology environment.
• Understanding of quoting, sales order, backlog, shipment, revenue recognition, and forecasting processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP, especially Order Management, enterprise data warehouses, OBIEE, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience improving or automating recurring financial and operational reporting.
• Formal project management training or certification, or experience leading cross-functional analytics and process-improvement initiatives.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field.
• VBA experience.
