What you will do

• Design and execute independent experiments investigating molecular mechanisms that control cancer cell-state transitions.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data and develop mechanistic hypotheses.
• Study chromatin regulation, retinoid metabolism, differentiation, and cancer-cell plasticity.
• Validate mechanisms using patient-derived organoids, human specimens, genetically engineered mouse models, xenografts, and other physiologically relevant systems.
• Collaborate with computational and translational scientists and prepare manuscripts and scientific presentations.
• Contribute to grant development and mentor junior laboratory members.

Requirements

• Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D.
• Strong training in experimental biology.
• Demonstrated creativity, scientific judgment, and ability to work independently.
• Intellectual ambition, scientific rigor, and the ability to learn quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience in molecular biology and protein biochemistry, transcription factor biology, chromatin remodeling or epigenetics, protein–protein interactions, cell signaling and cancer biology, CRISPR-based genetic engineering, organoid or stem cell biology, quantitative cell biology or microscopy, in vivo studies, or synthetic biology.
• Experience with mouse models.
