Data Analyst II (AI)

Location: Upstream Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $70,000–$130,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Support release validation, cross-product testing, and data quality assurance activities.
• Identify and analyze data discrepancies before deployment to prevent issues affecting suppliers, merchants, and other business partners.
• Validate business-critical metrics and investigate defects to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to translate technical findings into actionable solutions and drive issue resolution.
• Use data analysis, automation, agentic AI, machine learning, anomaly detection, and testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency and data integrity.

Requirements

• Experience with software testing, release validation, and test automation using Playwright.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery.
• Ability to analyze data, identify defects, and validate business-critical metrics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to translate technical issues into actionable solutions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and commitment to automation, AI-driven tools, and continuous improvement.
• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field; or Option 2: two years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related experience.
• Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Related industry experience, such as retail, merchandising, healthcare, or eCommerce.
• Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages such as SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
