Senior Fullstack Java & React Developer

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal, with 2 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Develop backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs using SQL and relational databases.
• Build frontend features with React and Next.js.
• Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot bugs, and optimize code.
• Maintain technical documentation using Confluence and IcePanel.
• Apply DevOps practices with CI/CD, GitHub workflows and actions, and Maven.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional experience.
• Backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• REST API design and implementation.
• SQL and relational databases, including MS SQL Server or an equivalent RDBMS.
• Version control with Git.
• Unit and integration testing.
• Troubleshooting, bug fixing, and code optimization.
• Technical documentation with Confluence and IcePanel.
• DevOps practices, including CI/CD, GitHub workflows and actions, and Maven or an equivalent package manager.
• Frontend development with React and Next.js.
• Portuguese and English.

Nice to have

• Hibernate, JPA, or an equivalent ORM.
• Application architecture experience with microservices, hexagonal architecture, event-driven architecture, or similar approaches.
• AWS or other cloud platforms.
