Senior Full-Stack Developer (Fintech): Building innovative solutions and supporting operations for a business investment banking and financial services project with an accent on Java/Spring backend development, Angular applications, and relational database integration. Focus on designing scalable software, implementing continuous integration and unit testing, and solving complex full-stack challenges in an Agile environment.

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

Develop innovative solutions for business investment banking and financial services operations.
Build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring, including Spring Boot, Batch, and MVC.
Develop frontend applications with Angular 2+.
Work with relational databases, primarily Oracle, and application servers such as JBoss and Tomcat.
Apply software design patterns, continuous integration principles, and unit testing practices.
Collaborate in Agile delivery environments using Scrum or Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.

Requirements

More than 6 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
Strong experience with Java, Spring, Maven, JBoss/Tomcat, Angular 2+, Oracle, and Linux/Shell Scripting.
Experience with JUnit/Mockito or other unit-testing libraries and continuous integration tools.
Knowledge of software design patterns and Agile methodologies.
Experience using AI coding assistants.
Strong English communication skills and availability for hybrid work in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal.

Nice to have

French language skills.
Portuguese language skills.
