Senior Angular/Java Developer (Credit Risk)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Salary: €4,410–€5,250 for B2B; €2,300–€2,600 net for a permanent contract.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java backend components for the Credit Risk system and WatchList application.
• Design and implement Angular frontend interfaces that improve user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions aligned with project requirements.
• Integrate Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release into deployment workflows.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, using Git and Maven for version control and build automation.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing system improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with a focus on Angular and Java.
• Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming languages.
• Proficiency with Spring Core and Spring Boot.
• 3–6 years of Angular experience.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Solid SQL skills.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

• Certifications or additional expertise in credit risk or financial technology.
