DevOps Engineer

Location: Porto, Portugal (hybrid)

hirify.global is hiring for a project connected with the European stock market area and a global trading platform, within a multicultural team distributed across several European cities.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and application deployments.
• Implement infrastructure as code and automate operational tasks to create consistent, reproducible environments.
• Manage and secure cloud infrastructure, including storage, access permissions, and encryption.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and event-driven automation to improve system reliability and incident response.
• Support tool deployment and configuration while improving IT operations and security practices.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Linux and experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, including S3, IAM, access control, and encryption.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, event-driven automation, and incident response processes.
• Understanding of security best practices, including IAM policies, API access control, network security, and infrastructure configuration.
• English and Portuguese language skills are required.
