Tech Lead - Fullstack Developer

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal; English and Portuguese required. The development center is in Porto, with administrative support in Lisbon.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure applications according to established coding standards.
• Design and implement UI components, APIs, database queries, and stored procedures.
• Write unit tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and adequate test coverage.
• Support production applications in a SaaS environment, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and collaborate throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in UI and API development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Angular, TypeScript, and other JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with application architecture and design.
• Experience with AWS, including serverless technologies such as SAM and CodeDeploy.
• Experience providing production support in a SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server or other relational databases, stored procedures, application security, data protection, and AI tools or technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and source control systems such as Bitbucket.
• English and Portuguese language skills.
