Director, Localisation & Operations - Europe

What you will do

• Lead regional dubbing operations, including studio and localization-agency sourcing, vendor negotiations, capacity planning, SLAs, and quality benchmarks.
• Oversee content ingestion, localized asset readiness, metadata, rights and availability, regulatory requirements, publishing schedules, and regional launch dependencies.
• Manage localization operations for trailers, teasers, key art, digital banners, social assets, paid-media creative, CRM materials, partner assets, and other marketing deliverables.
• Establish QC frameworks covering linguistic fidelity, regional nuance, lip-sync, audio masters, brand messaging, and localized customer-facing assets.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team across dubbing, content ingestion, and marketing operations while defining KPIs and reporting to executive leadership.
• Develop operational playbooks, SOPs, scalable workflows, automated tooling, infrastructure business cases, and cross-territorial standards.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience in content operations, localization, media supply chain, or post-production leadership within OTT/streaming, entertainment, or digital media platforms.
• Proven experience leading multifunctional teams across localization and dubbing, asset management, content scheduling, and marketing operations.
• Experience navigating ambiguity, driving organizational change, and building scalable processes from scratch in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Extensive experience evaluating, onboarding, managing, and negotiating commercial agreements with global dubbing studios, post-production vendors, and localization agencies.
• Deep technical understanding of dubbing, subtitling, audio mixing, lip-syncing, digital asset management, CMS systems, and video ingestion formats.
• Experience building QC processes for localized customer-facing assets and maintaining brand standards and local cultural voice across multiple regions.
• Strong analytical ability with hands-on experience using operational dashboards, workflow metrics, and ROI analysis.
• Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization with cross-functional partners across multiple time zones.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
• Fluency in English required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Production, Business Administration, or a related field.
