Test Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Test web applications built with React and TypeScript.
• Test Node.js server applications.
• Apply software testing methodologies, tools, and processes across multiple projects.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Monitor the progress and requirements of multiple concurrent, highly visible projects.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph applicable to the customer.
• Demonstrated experience in software testing, preferably with web applications.
• Hands-on experience testing React and TypeScript applications and Node.js server applications.
• Experience or proficiency with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience or proficiency with Mocha, Chai, Supertest, Postman, or Newman.
• Experience or proficiency with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, or Katalon Studio.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
• Experience monitoring multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements.

Nice to have

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of containerization and testing in Dockerized environments.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe or Lighthouse.
• Experience with Jest integration for Elasticsearch testing.
• Experience with manual query validation.
