Senior QA Tester (Financial Instruments)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Write detailed functional specifications for financial-instrument features.
• Design and execute test cases to validate application quality.
• Use SQL for test-data validation and analysis.
• Track and manage testing activities in Jira and Confluence.
• Apply knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD to support testing in the delivery pipeline.
• Mentor team members on testing practices and banking-domain functional knowledge.

Requirements

• Strong experience writing specifications and designing and executing test cases.
• Solid SQL skills.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Business Analyst-level functional proficiency in banking areas including securities, wealth management, and securities/forex orders.
• Strong mentoring, problem-solving, facilitation, analytical, organizational, process-driven, and detail-oriented skills.
• Fluent English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.
