Senior Frontend Engineer - Salon Ops

Location: Fully remote from Ireland or the United Kingdom; locations include Dublin, Northern Ireland and Leatherhead.

What you will do

• Build fast, ambitious web applications and new features for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-impact features and intuitive UI components.
• Identify frontend bottlenecks and improve the developer experience.
• Develop automated unit and acceptance tests and maintain high standards for code quality, reuse and maintainability.
• Design and implement solutions with the team, contribute to code reviews and whiteboarding sessions, and coach teammates.
• Apply engineering judgment to solve business problems and evaluate frontend technology trade-offs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Ember.js or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including its fundamentals and latest developments.
• Experience building and working with RESTful APIs.
• Ability to reason about trade-offs in frontend technologies.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others while improving quality, productivity, technical innovation and excellence.
• Strong attention to detail, high coding standards and a methodical work process.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Apollo and Node.js.
