Principal Software Engineer (React)

Location: Beirut, Lebanon; flexible remote work environment available.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of front-end components and interfaces for software products serving the energy industry.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to build intuitive web applications.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, responsive, and performant solutions using modern front-end technologies.
• Introduce new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure reliable user experiences.
• Write clean, documented, secure, and efficient code following front-end development best practices.
• Stay current with front-end technologies and optimize products for usability and performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Front-End Developer, with a strong focus on modern web technologies.
• 5+ years of professional React experience.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience building responsive and adaptive web applications, using Git and front-end build tools.
• Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL and effective collaboration with back-end teams.
• Strong UI/UX knowledge, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and experience working in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, microservices, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and methodologies.
• A portfolio demonstrating advanced technical expertise and attention to detail.
