Logistics Analyst (AI/ML)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU area.

What you will do

• Build dashboards and analytical tools for carrier service performance, on-time delivery, primary transport, freight cost, accessorial costs, demurrage, detention, and dwell time.
• Analyze warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, throughput, pick/pack performance, dwell time, cost per pallet, and service levels.
• Conduct root-cause analyses of service failures, delays, cost variances, mis-picks, damages, and stock discrepancies, and define preventive actions.
• Model transport scenarios covering network redesign, modal shifts, consolidation, and carrier mix.
• Support supply chain visibility and control-tower tooling, use AI and machine learning for improvement models, and partner with logistics operations to improve service and efficiency.
• Analyze freight and warehouse cost drivers, benchmark 3PL performance, and build tooling to compare delivered services with invoices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain analytics, ideally in chemicals, industrials, or other regulated sectors.
• Advanced analytical skills with Excel, Power BI or Tableau, SQL, or similar tools.
• Skills and experience with AI tools and machine learning.
• Experience with SAP and TMS.
• Ability to turn complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of transport regulations including ADR, IMDG, and CLP, as well as chemical warehousing regulations and safe handling requirements.
• Structured thinking, exceptional problem-solving skills, confident communication, stakeholder influence, curiosity, and a proactive approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with network modeling tools such as Llamasoft, Coupa, or AIMMS.
• Knowledge of sustainability metrics, CO₂ reporting, and green logistics.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification.
• Exposure to S&OP or integrated business planning.
