Operations Sustainability and Safety Analyst

Location: Austin, TX, US. Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the hiring country; international relocation and remote work outside the hiring country are not considered. Travel required: 0–10%.

What you will do

• Manage, collect, validate, and maintain environmental, sustainability, safety, and compliance data from global sites and business functions.
• Support EPR programs, packaging regulations, and other environmental reporting obligations across applicable EU and U.S. regulatory schemes.
• Support ESG reporting, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions accounting, and sustainability performance analysis.
• Maintain and improve ISO management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, through document reviews and gap assessments.
• Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, stakeholder communications, and analytical insights for sustainability, safety, compliance, and business decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Product Management, and site EHS teams on risk management, corrective actions, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, quality, regulatory compliance, ISO management systems, or a related field.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for operational, compliance, sustainability, quality, or business objectives.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams on projects, process improvements, compliance programs, or operational initiatives.
• Ability to maintain compliance records, supporting documentation, and evidence for sustainability, safety, and regulatory programs.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, technology, quality, environmental, health and safety, or compliance-related roles.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting, ESG programs, greenhouse gas accounting, or environmental performance metrics.
• Experience supporting EPR, WEEE, PPWR, ISO, or similar environmental, product, operational, quality, or safety compliance programs.
• Professional working proficiency or fluency in Spanish, French, or German.
