Senior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working with time split between the office and home. Working from another country is available for up to 8 weeks per year.

Salary: EUR 68,000–80,000 gross per year at medior level or EUR 84,000–99,000 gross per year, plus 8% holiday allowance, based on 40 hours per week.

What you will do

• Work on the complex web app and create new features affecting millions of users.
• Support the Product team by creating prototypes and sharing frontend knowledge.
• Build internal tools such as the Teleporter.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, engineers, and the wider team.
• Improve the platform’s resiliency, maintainability, and scalability while addressing or preventing technical debt.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of strong frontend experience.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, or similar technologies.
• A pragmatic approach to solving technical problems, including large challenges in automated testing, performance optimization, and feature development.
• Daily use of AI tools while understanding, explaining, defending, and debugging every line shipped.
• Experience creating intuitive and visually polished frontend solutions.
• Experience working in an Agile team environment.
• A strong focus on user experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with TanStack, Playwright, Python, or Node.js.
