Lead JS Fullstack Engineer (React/Node.js)

What you will do

• Build end-to-end product features with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless components.
• Design and improve frontend and backend architecture, performance, scalability, maintainability, clean abstractions, SOLID principles, and reduced coupling.
• Implement REST APIs, integrate GraphQL services, and develop AWS Lambda functions with Amazon API Gateway and CORS handling.
• Apply unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices to maintain application reliability and quality.
• Use logs, metrics, and distributed tracing to troubleshoot production issues and maintain system stability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and distributed engineering teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with React, including useState, useEffect, useMemo, useReducer, the Rules of Hooks, and React architectural patterns such as Higher-Order Components and Hooks.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript, including callbacks, Promises, async/await, and robust error handling in the Node.js async model.
• Practical experience building RESTful APIs and consuming GraphQL services in modern web applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, including configuration, handler signatures, API Gateway integrations, and CORS fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of software testing strategies, including the Test Pyramid, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Solid understanding of clean architecture principles, including dependency injection, abstraction, coupling and decoupling, and SOLID design principles.
• Practical experience in Agile or Scrum environments, strong clean code practices, constructive code reviews, and effective collaboration and communication in English across distributed and multicultural teams.

• Advanced AWS ecosystem patterns, including API Gateway integrations, retries, DLQs, and event-driven architectures.
• Parallel and concurrent processing with queues, worker pools, and asynchronous task execution.
• SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, indexing strategies, and basic query optimization.
• Observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana or NewRelic, including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• GraphQL resolvers and schema stitching.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or similar tooling.
• Docker and Kubernetes for local development and CI environments.
• Advanced testing practices including Test-Driven Development, contract testing, and visual regression testing.
• Event-driven systems and messaging platforms such as Kafka or AWS EventBridge.
• Application security fundamentals, including CORS, OWASP principles, JWT, and OIDC.
