Operations Associate - Transfers (Financial Services)

Location: Welcome Building, United Kingdom; hybrid working options are available. Monday to Friday, shifts between 8am and 6pm, 37.5 hours per week.

What you will do

• Process client transfers into and out of the business across a range of investment products and accounts.
• Monitor transfer progress and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of transfer activities and communications.
• Liaise with clients, financial advisers, custodians, platforms, fund managers, and third-party providers.
• Provide transfer status updates, respond to enquiries, and communicate expected completion timelines.
• Support robust, effective, and fully documented controls, improve team processes, and participate in wider department projects.

Requirements

• Experience working in a fast-moving environment with the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and service.
• Experience working as part of an effective and successful team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage fluctuating workloads.
• Excellent attention to detail and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge in differing contexts.

Nice to have

• Experience with in-house systems such as Broker Focus and Atlas.
• Experience working in at least one financial services team.
• Business, regulatory, investment, and operational knowledge.
• Experience with transfer-in and transfer-out processes.
