Datacenter Security Manager (Portugal) (AI)

Location: Portugal; the role manages physical security operations at the Glomfjord Data Centre.

What you will do

• Manage daily physical security operations, inspections, procedures, and security standards at the data centre.
• Manage the Securitas security contract, supervise security officers, conduct performance reviews and service meetings, and ensure contractual service levels.
• Oversee reception security, visitor registration, identity verification, visitor escorts, visitor records, contractor access, customer visits, VIP visits, and government delegations.
• Maintain CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security; report defects and coordinate remedial actions.
• Coordinate responses to on-site security incidents, liaise with emergency services, investigate physical security events, and produce incident reports.
• Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, and customer security audits while maintaining site security documentation and compliance with customer physical security standards.

Requirements

• Experience managing contract security teams.
• Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of physical security systems.
• Experience managing visitors and customer security requirements.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Leadership, customer service, communication, contractor management, incident management, decision-making, attention to detail, and report writing.

Nice to have

• Experience supervising reception operations.
• Genetec experience.
• Security auditing experience.
• ISO 27001 or SOC 2 knowledge.
• Experience supporting government or hyperscale customer environments.
