Senior PAM and Vault Automation Engineer (HashiCorp Vault)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automation services for PAM using Delinea Secret Server and HashiCorp Vault.
• Develop enterprise-grade APIs, integration services, automation frameworks, and reusable automation patterns.
• Build self-service onboarding capabilities for application teams.
• Implement automated secret lifecycle management, including secrets rotation and certificate management.
• Design and maintain account provisioning, deprovisioning, and privileged access governance workflows.
• Integrate PAM and Vault with IAM, CMDB, Service Management, infrastructure platforms, and other enterprise systems.

Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience with Python, object-oriented design, REST APIs, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and scalable enterprise applications or automation platforms.
• Experience designing, developing, and automating solutions around HashiCorp Vault, enterprise PAM platforms, and Fleet Commander.
• Ability to translate security and access management requirements into software solutions, workflows, integrations, and self-service capabilities.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems through APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with IAM, Active Directory/Entra ID, ITSM, CMDB, security platforms, Kafka, and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps practices, and automated deployment patterns.
• Strong understanding of software delivery, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and large-scale platform operations.
• Ability to design scalable, resilient, and observable platforms with logging, monitoring, configuration management, dependency lifecycle management, Kubernetes, and enterprise endpoint management solutions including Fleet Commander.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, ownership, proactive self-directed work, analytical and conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and resolve incidents, problems, and change requests independently.
• Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
