Manager, Security Operations Center (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote US

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 base plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Design, implement, and enforce processes, workflows, and playbooks that improve Security Operations Center productivity and reduce analyst burnout.
• Manage local and global shift coverage to maintain 24/7 operations 365 days a year.
• Lead weekly one-to-one meetings, provide feedback, gather input, and support analyst career growth.
• Develop and implement analyst training across Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Detection Engineering, Threat Hunting, and Automation.
• Partner with Product, Support, and security teams to create capabilities and workflows that augment analyst effectiveness and improve partner and customer response.
• Maintain regional quality assurance, report Objectives and Key Results, operationalize new technologies, provide technical leadership, and represent the organization in webinars and in-person speaking engagements.

Requirements

• Experience leading diverse cybersecurity teams across Security Operations, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Malware Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering.
• 5+ years of Security Analyst experience in a global 24/7 Security Operations Center, with a focus on Windows forensics.
• 3+ years of team lead or managerial experience in a global operations center or Incident Response role, preferably within an MSSP, MDR provider, or Incident Response service.
• Active engagement in the information security community through conferences or public-domain conversations and projects.
• Continued learning about threat actor tradecraft, detection techniques, and security operations concepts.
• Ability to identify workflows and create detailed process diagrams and operating procedures.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts effectively to stakeholders with varied technical backgrounds.
• Experience leading initiatives or projects requiring delegation and accountability.
• Data-driven approach with experience in Data Science concepts.
