Senior Incident Response Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Base salary: USD $124,000–$329,200 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operationalize solutions for incidents across network, identity, and application security.
• Investigate and resolve incidents using data analysis, digital forensics, and multiple security data sources.
• Identify automation opportunities and develop scripts and tools for incident detection and response.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, mitigation strategies, and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and architecture teams to integrate security into systems and applications.
• Analyze incident metrics, identify trends and anomalies, and report security risks and remediation strategies to leaders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in security analysis, security research, cybersecurity, security engineering, or a related area, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with security incident response, risk assessments, audits, and security compliance.
• Advanced data analysis and forensic investigation skills.
• Experience developing software or automation tools is beneficial.
• Experience with application security tools such as SAST, DAST, or SCA and security review activities is beneficial.
• Experience with hirify.global or open-source software platforms is beneficial.

Nice to have

• 9+ years of experience in security operations, security research, cybersecurity, security engineering, or a related area.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, GPEN, OSCP, or Security+.
• Experience with threat modeling, security design and architecture reviews, application security testing, and code review.
