Software Engineer (Go)

Location: On-site in Sunnyvale, California, United States

Base salary: $172K–$198K per year

hirify.global develops breach-containment and Zero Trust Segmentation products that use the hirify.global AI Security Graph to identify and contain cyberattacks across hybrid multi-cloud environments.

What you will do

• Develop containerized microservices for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events, network telemetry, and cloud data.
• Build real-time insights, visibility, and security recommendations that help customers identify and minimize cloud risk.
• Design services, defend architecture decisions, and deliver reliable implementations.
• Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements clarification through deployment and customer usage.
• Operate production systems, improve supportability, and maintain code quality through developer, functional, and integration testing.
• Partner with Product Management and mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
• 4+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
• Experience with Go and SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
• Experience extensively using AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API or programming level.
• General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Willingness to continuously learn, follow technology trends, and work in a team setting.
• Experience delivering containerized services is desired for the Kubernetes-based platform.
• The position involves access to software and technology subject to U.S. export controls; employment is contingent on the ability to comply with those controls.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with networking and security controls.
• CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible experience.
