Journeyman Security Services Support (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site at WPAFB, Ohio, United States; CONUS travel and occasional OCONUS travel to FMS customer installations and facilities are required.

What you will do

• Support security management, analytical, technical, and administrative services for Air Force Life Cycle Management Center and F-16 program organizations.
• Coordinate security procedures, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and advise government security leads and security-related working groups.
• Implement information, personnel, industrial, physical, resource, force protection, and anti-terrorism security programs for classified and critical weapon-system information.
• Administer Special Access Program Facilities, including Program Access Requests, accreditation, self-inspections, access databases, secure rooms, vaults, COMSEC material, and end-of-day security checks.
• Develop and review security requirements, protection plans, system security documentation, contracts, specifications, assessments, vulnerability analyses, and test procedures.
• Evaluate classified information systems and electronic equipment, support ATO and OPSEC activities, conduct security surveys and site evaluations, and integrate export-control and DoD security requirements throughout the weapon system lifecycle.

Requirements

• Active or current Secret clearance is required and must be verifiable in DISS. TS/SCI eligibility is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including three years in the DoD; or seven years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including five years in the DoD.
• Experience supporting information, personnel, industrial, and physical security programs in DoD or Air Force environments.
• Strong analytical writing skills for documenting program security methods and decisions.

Nice to have

• Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility.
• Level 1 certification in the Defense Security Service Security Professional Education Development program or current DSS training related to information, personnel, industrial, and physical security programs.
