Security Analyst

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; primary duty location is the SMDC Technical Center.

What you will do

• Coordinate security activities and operational requirements with SMDC division chiefs, staff elements, technical monitors, and contracting representatives.
• Provide guidance and policy clarification across information security, access control, physical security, OPSEC, and COMSEC.
• Conduct risk assessments, pre-inspections, performance metric analysis, and written reporting.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, databases, spreadsheets, records, and controls.
• Support personnel in-processing and out-processing, security visits, investigations, compliance activities, and security briefings.
• Process classified and Controlled Unclassified Information material, including COMSEC support and destruction activities.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Security Manager or Facility Security Officer.
• Experience performing information, physical, and personnel security functions.
• Experience preparing security documentation, processing personnel, and maintaining security records and controls.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Onsite work at the SMDC Technical Center in Huntsville, Alabama; after-hours support may be required.
