Divisional Financial Controller (Compute)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid workplace.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the local finance team in São Paulo, overseeing end-to-end accounting, AP, AR, banking, and local finance compliance.
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including reconciliation and conversion of BR GAAP accounts to Group IFRS standards.
• Manage Board, statutory, and ASX-listed reporting requirements for the hirify.global Group.
• Oversee federal, state, and municipal tax filings, including SPED, and support local tax planning.
• Resolve technical accounting issues, update accounting policies, maintain system controls, and automate finance workflows.
• Partner with department heads on strategic initiatives, present business cases to HQ leadership, and maintain financial controls, risk management, balance-sheet control, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• CA, CPA, CRC, or a local equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Finance Leader.
• CEFR C1 or higher in English and native or fluent Portuguese.
• Understanding of IFRS and US GAAP accounting requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of Brazilian tax frameworks and statutory reporting, including BR GAAP, SPED compliance, and direct and indirect tax management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver complete and accurate results under tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage a broad team, build relationships, and handle multiple stakeholders and competing priorities across management levels.
