Engineer That Operates as a Builder (AI)

Location: Bellevue, United States; on-site. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Base salary: $218,000–$250,000 per year.

What you will do

• Shape product direction and execution by defining what to build and why.
• Validate product concepts with customers, gather insights, and drive proven adoption.
• Propose, architect, and ship large-scale cloud services.
• Build AI-native agentic systems that address enterprise business bottlenecks.
• Drive technical consensus across stakeholders through clear, data-driven communication.
• Lead through influence and inspire a globally distributed engineering team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience architecting and building large-scale commercial applications with external product impact.
• Expertise in distributed systems, data layers including OLTP and OLAP, and high-scale engineering.
• Mastery of programming language paradigms, schema design, and robust public-facing API development.
• Ability to balance technical quality with business impact and customer outcomes.
• Ability to navigate complex technical trade-offs and build stakeholder consensus.
• Ability to lead through influence and inspire a globally distributed team.
• Experience operating with a founder mindset, strong engineering excellence, and an emphasis on developer productivity.

Nice to have

• Technical background in workflow engines, orchestration, and structured or unstructured data and document processing.
• Depth in building user experiences.
