Senior Manager, Internal Comms

Location: New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; or Seattle, WA

Base salary: $118,200–$160,000 annually in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Irvine; $130,000–$185,000 annually in San Francisco and New York.

What you will do

• Own internal communications strategy and execution across the company.
• Author company-level messaging and provide employees with clear information and context.
• Partner with executives and cross-functional teams on sensitive issues, organizational changes, company announcements, and other important moments.
• Lead All Hands editorial strategy, content development, speaker preparation, run of show, creative elements, and live production with production and creative partners.
• Build relationships across the company to identify stories, speakers, and work to feature in All Hands programming.
• Track attendance, engagement, feedback, and other signals to improve communications and All Hands programming.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to build communications strategies around complicated transitions and manage detailed All Hands segments.
• Curiosity about company activity, employee priorities, and the information employees need; comfort asking tough questions and pushing for clarity.
• Strong creative judgment and the ability to identify compelling company stories, develop interesting internal programming, experiment, measure results, and adjust.
• Strong project management and production skills, including managing multiple timelines and delivering weekly programming while planning future work.
• Ability to turn ideas into compelling segments and partner with creative and production teams to strengthen the final product.
