Principal Security Services Support (Defense)

Location: WPAFB, Ohio, United States. On-site role with CONUS travel and OCONUS security site surveys as required.

What you will do

• Provide security management, analytical, technical, and administrative support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center F-16 division and related DoD programs.
• Serve as a security focal point, analyze procedures and deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and support information, personnel, industrial, physical, resource, force protection, and anti-terrorism programs.
• Administer Special Access Program Facilities, including Program Access Requests, accreditation, self-inspections, classified databases, COMSEC materials, and secure rooms and vaults.
• Develop and maintain system security requirements, security plans, System Security Concepts of Operation, Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides, directives, and technology control plans.
• Assess threats, vulnerabilities, critical program information, classified systems, AIS procedures, weapon-system protection measures, and security countermeasures across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Support security evaluations, test and evaluation activities, DTSA certification, FMS customer site surveys, briefings, conferences, and CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Requirements

• Active or current Secret clearance is required; Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility is preferred and must be verifiable in DISS.
• At least 10 years of security experience is required.
• One of the following experience and education paths is required: a related Master’s or Doctoral degree with at least 20 years of relevant experience, including 12 years in the DoD; a related Bachelor’s degree with at least 25 years of relevant experience, including 15 years in the DoD; or at least 30 years of directly related experience with the required certifications, including 20 years in the DoD.
• Experience must cover the technical or professional discipline being performed.
• Level 1 certification in the Defense Security Service Security Professional Education Development program, or current equivalent DSS training in information, personnel, industrial, and physical security, is recommended.
• Ability to support classified programs and facilities up to and including Top Secret, Special Access, and SCI environments.
• Ability to perform CONUS travel and OCONUS security site surveys and secure-storage evaluations.
