IT Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Remote in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Collaborate with the QA Architect to implement QA strategies, automated testing frameworks, and automated tests.
• Develop and maintain automation code for performance, security, integration, and regression testing.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated scripts validating software functionality and performance.
• Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Work with development teams on testable, high-quality code, code reviews, and design sessions.
• Diagnose bugs, maintain test data and environments, and provide input on system scalability, reliability, and cloud testing practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience testing large-scale software systems.
• Expertise in automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Proficiency with automated testing frameworks and tools suitable for cloud applications.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and familiarity with compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate quality strategies.
