Senior Product Designer, New Verticals (AI Products)

Location: United States

Base salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year in the United States; total compensation may also include a performance bonus, benefits, and other applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Design AI-native experiences and determine when AI should assist, recommend, or act on behalf of customers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define product vision, priorities, requirements, tradeoffs, and roadmap.
• Build direct relationships with small-business owners and practitioners, observe their work, test ideas, and iterate on solutions.
• Own end-to-end design from early concepts through onboarding, daily workflows, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Use AI tools, interactive prototypes, and working software to make ideas tangible and test assumptions quickly.
• Create reusable components, shared context, and AI-powered workflows while maintaining strong interaction and visual design quality.

Requirements

• 7+ years of design experience, including experience building tools that businesses depend on day to day.
• Active use of LLMs such as Claude or ChatGPT in the design workflow.
• Experience shipping 0-to-1 products and successfully scaling the customer base, with the ability to explain what failed, what worked, and what would be done differently.
• Experience building with AI or creating AI-native products, including informed opinions about LLM limitations, probabilistic outputs, and user trust in AI-driven experiences.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and high agency, independently define priorities, and create a roadmap.
• Interest in shaping product strategy rather than only executing requirements.
• Strong systems-thinking ability across workflows, ecosystems, and interconnected products.
