Location: United States, home-based; West Coast location preferred. New York, NY and San Francisco, CA are listed as locations.

Salary: $109,200–$273,000 annualized base pay.

What you will do

• Independently execute epidemiology and real-world evidence activities supporting inflammation programs across Phase 1–3 clinical development.
• Use real-world data and epidemiologic methods to characterize disease natural history and inflammation disease landscapes.
• Conduct feasibility assessments covering research questions, available data, study populations, endpoints, and study approaches.
• Develop and contribute to study protocols, analysis plans, study reports, clinical study reports, and other scientific deliverables.
• Support regulatory-grade studies, interpret findings, and communicate methods, assumptions, limitations, and results to sponsor stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
• Manage assigned work proactively and resolve execution issues with limited supervision while collaborating across functions and time zones.

Requirements

• PhD in Epidemiology is required.
• Demonstrated experience applying epidemiology and real-world evidence to Phase 1–3 clinical development programs.
• Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
• Knowledge of regulatory-grade real-world evidence expectations and rigorous observational research methods.
• Demonstrated epidemiology experience in inflammation or a closely related therapeutic area.
• Experience conducting natural history, disease landscape, and study feasibility work using real-world data.
• Experience developing study protocols, clinical study reports, and related epidemiology deliverables.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned work, and execute with limited supervision.
• Strong scientific writing, analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
