Software Engineer (Kubernetes)

Base salary: $172K–$198K per year

What you will do

• Build a system for orchestrating Zero Trust Segmentation at the application and pod level and identify attack pathways in container environments.
• Enhance container platforms and related technologies, including Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and GKE.
• Own and design critical features and subsystems, present designs to peers, and deliver scalable, stable, secure, and supportable implementations.
• Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
• Collaborate with field teams and key customers to shape the product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
• Proficiency in at least one higher-level programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with and interest in Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging.
• General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Experience with a Unix/Linux programming environment.
• The role involves access to technology subject to U.S. export controls; employment is contingent on the ability to comply with those controls.
