Senior Full Stack Developer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and APIs for treasury management solutions.
• Implement code quality, testing, and deployment practices to ensure reliable system performance.
• Design and optimize relational database interactions, primarily with Oracle.
• Contribute to automation and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Collaborate in Scrum and Kanban teams, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge.
• Support and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack development experience in financial services or a similarly demanding environment.
• Strong expertise in Angular 2+, Java, Spring Boot, Maven, JBoss/Tomcat, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle.
• Working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, DevOps principles, software design patterns, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with AI coding tools and continuous integration environments.
• Fluent English and Portuguese; existing legal right to work in the European Union required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies.
