Nuke Compositor

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid-based role. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada, such as Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

hirify.global is a visual effects studio producing photorealistic effects for episodic content and selected feature-film sequences, with operations in Canada, the United States, and the UK.

What you will do

• Integrate visual effects elements seamlessly with production footage using rotoscoping, keying, painting, tracking, and other compositing techniques.
• Collaborate with Leads, Supervisors, other artists, and departments to complete assigned work under tight deadlines and fast turnaround times.
• Deliver consistently high-quality aesthetic and technical work while troubleshooting problems on assigned shots.
• Interpret supervisor and client direction and execute the client vision to the required standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on photorealistic VFX for film and/or episodic content.
• Advanced knowledge of Nuke compositing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Thorough understanding of feature-film and television VFX production pipelines.
• Ability to interpret supervisor and client notes.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada, such as Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of episodic experience.
• Experience with Mocha and Silhouette.
