C3BM Systems Engineer

Location: Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel as required. Active DoD Secret security clearance requiring US citizenship.

What you will do

• Support C3BM systems engineering, including C2BMC technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.
• Assess new technologies for C2BMC and BOA and develop strategies to transition proven capabilities into future MDS spirals.
• Coordinate with MDA stakeholders, external laboratories, FFRDCs, and UARCs to integrate promising technologies.
• Perform analysis and trade studies, identify risks, and formulate requirements for advanced development.
• Support acquisition actions, Government Furnished Equipment and Information coordination, and contractor performance assessment.
• Write or review technical proposals and apply software acquisition strategies for major weapon system procurements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance and US citizenship.
• Proficiency in systems engineering and execution processes.
• Ability to apply network engineering and solutions to real-world testing, integration, and operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MDA and/or DoD programs and processes.
• Ability to assess software code maturity and overall Technology Readiness Levels.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, modeling and simulation tools, and verification, validation, and accreditation procedures.
• Experience with MBSE, modular open systems architecture development, DevSecOps, cloud migration, and COTS/GOTS software.
