Senior Test Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, analysis, and documentation of functional, integration, qualification, and acceptance testing.
• Develop test procedures, verification plans, instrumentation strategies, and automated test configurations.
• Evaluate hardware configurations, software baselines, laboratory capabilities, and instrumentation requirements for test readiness.
• Analyze test data, investigate failures, determine corrective actions, and validate fixes through repeat testing.
• Coordinate verification and qualification activities with electrical, mechanical, RF, software, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Prepare test reports and verification records, conduct Test Readiness Reviews, and improve laboratory and automated test processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with 5–8 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 3–6 years, or a PhD with 0–3 years in test engineering, systems integration, product verification, hardware validation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, qualification, and acceptance testing methodologies.
• Experience developing test procedures, verification plans, instrumentation strategies, and automated test solutions.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, automated test equipment, and laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of configuration management, ESD controls, FOD prevention, failure investigations, verification methodologies, and AS9100 quality standards.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and data acquisition software such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or NI TestStand, plus engineering collaboration tools such as Windchill, Jira, or Confluence.
