Business Analyst Intern (Banking)

What you will do

• Support the identification of customer challenges and help explore potential solutions that create business value.
• Learn customer business objectives and priorities and prepare materials and insights for stakeholder engagement.
• Analyze customer organizational structures and processes to understand stakeholder relationships and project requirements.
• Support implementation and pre-sales activities for Core Banking solutions, including Deposit Management, Lending Management, Cash Management, and Transaction Banking, under the guidance of senior colleagues.
• Collaborate with regional teams across Southeast Asia on project activities and build knowledge of the regional financial services industry.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable STEM degree program, with above-average performance.
• Interest in the interplay between economic and technical issues.
• Very good analytical skills and a strong understanding of technical interrelationships.
• Excellent abstraction skills, team spirit, and drive to succeed.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Hands-on, results-oriented, pragmatic, team-oriented, and creatively curious about improving processes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile and project-based work or software development.
