Lead Vendor Solution Consultant (Cloud Integrations)

Location: Remote in the United States; listed job locations are Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; and Atlanta, GA.

Salary: $130,000–$165,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical contact for vendors in the Certified Vendor Integration Program from onboarding through certification, ongoing support, and annual recertification.
• Understand vendor integration goals and translate them into functional and technical requirements, integration designs, and implementation plans.
• Guide vendors through design, development, testing, certification, and resolution of issues in existing integrations.
• Review integrations against certification, technical, security, audit, and SOC control requirements, including data movement and API usage.
• Develop expertise in Applied’s enterprise architecture and APIs to select products and data flows and estimate onboarding effort and timelines.
• Partner with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, Product Management, Engineering, and partnership teams while maintaining integration guides and data mappings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience: minimum 8 years, or 6 years with an Associate degree.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing business or technical solutions, including designing, reviewing, and troubleshooting cloud integrations.
• Experience working directly with software vendors or technology partners to scope, build, and support integrations, plus at least 3 years of partner, client, or project management experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with APIs and/or cloud platforms and building solutions using SQL, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong data integration experience, including mapping, transforming, and synchronizing data between systems.
• Understanding of audit practices and SOC controls.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences during frequent vendor calls.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Architect certification or Microsoft Azure experience.
• Salesforce administration or development experience, including Apex, or experience building applications with containers.
• Experience with financial data, general ledger concepts, ERP systems, or CRM systems.
• Insurance industry experience or experience with channel sales, partner programs, or indirect sales.
