Location: El Marqués, Mexico

What you will do

  • Translate English operator guides, service manuals, and related customer-facing documentation into Spanish for newly built equipment and revisions to existing documentation.
  • Proofread machine-translated content for accuracy and linguistic consistency.
  • Coordinate with Technical Writers to standardize technical terminology across documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a lexicon for the Technical Publications Team and master all related software.
  • Participate in project planning to ensure translated content is completed by shipping dates and help develop a regular translation review process.
  • Update the Production Log spreadsheet with completed shipments and related information in coordination with the Technical Writing Team Lead.

Requirements

  • Ability to translate English technical documentation into Spanish.
  • Ability to proofread machine-translated content for accuracy and linguistic consistency.
  • Ability to work with technical terminology and develop a documentation lexicon.
  • Ability to use all software related to the role.
  • Ability to participate in project planning and coordinate translated content with shipping deadlines.
