What you will do

• Provide legal advisory, regulatory, and documentation support for fund administration, registrar and transfer agent, investor AML, banking, custody, trustee, regulatory reporting, registered office, and corporate secretary businesses.
• Review and draft service, intragroup, outsourcing, vendor, confidentiality, FATCA, regulatory reporting, trust, banking, and related agreements.
• Negotiate agreements, manage timelines, liaise with internal stakeholders, coordinate approvals, handle execution, and provide final legal opinions where appropriate.
• Respond to legal queries from operational departments, control and support functions, client integration and client services teams, senior management, and entity boards.
• Advise on day-to-day legal and regulatory matters across key jurisdictions and coordinate external legal counsel when required.
• Support or manage projects and new business initiatives, maintain legal precedents, and represent Legal on internal committees.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 7–10 years of post-qualification experience and a valid practicing certificate in England and Wales or New York.
• Experience in an in-house legal role, ideally with a bank, fund manager, or fund service provider.
