Head of Strategy and Transformation (Naval Combat Systems)

What you will do

• Own the Naval Combat Systems strategic plan and mid- to long-term roadmap.
• Translate the strategy into a coordinated transformation agenda across Product Units and global roles.
• Shape roadmaps for growth, capabilities, and investments based on market, customer, and technology developments.
• Coordinate initiatives into a coherent portfolio with clear priorities and sequencing.
• Support decisions on portfolio, industrial footprint, operating model, and ways of working.
• Establish progress, benefits, and KPI follow-up while helping leaders and teams implement organisational change.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience driving strategy and transformation in complex, technology-intensive organisations.
• Documented experience leading a business, product area, or major transformation with clear accountability for results.
• Background in high-tech, industrial, or system-driven environments with multiple stakeholders and interfaces.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategies, portfolios, or roadmaps and follow up on value and effects.
• Strong analytical skills and sound judgement, including the ability to frame options and trade-offs for senior decision-makers.
• Well-developed communication skills and the ability to create clarity and alignment across an organisation.
• Experience working with executive teams and a grounded understanding of organisational change.
• Successful completion of security vetting under applicable security-protection regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply where security clearance is required.
