Middle Fullstack Engineer (Java+JS)

What you will do

• Build and maintain web applications across frontend interfaces, backend services, databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Design responsive user interfaces, frontend architecture, backend business logic, RESTful APIs, and scalable software components.
• Apply security, data protection, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, performance, and cross-browser best practices.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, optimize, document, and maintain code across the full stack.
• Deploy and manage applications using cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
• Write precise specifications for AI coding agents, review generated outputs for logic, security, standards, and performance, document AI contributions, and train teams on prompt engineering.

Requirements

• University degree corresponding to Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework and a minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience.
• Very good spoken and written English at Level B2.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with Vaadin 7, Angular, React, Vue, and Bootstrap.
• Expertise in Java 8/17 and Java, Node, or PHP backend stacks, including JEE EJB 3, CDI, JMS, Spring Boot, and Hibernate JPA.
• Advanced experience designing, building, and securing RESTful APIs and web services with Kafka, Protobuf, JAX-WS, JAXB, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Proficiency with Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and Flyway version control.
• Strong understanding of WebLogic 12c and 14 application servers.
• Experience with Maven, Webpack, and Vite.
• Solid automated testing experience with tools such as JUnit 4 and Mockito; expert Git workflow knowledge with GitLab and Bitbucket, plus understanding of SVN legacy systems.
• Knowledge of AWS and Azure, and experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep for infrastructure provisioning.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and other authentication and authorization standards.
• Proven Agile experience using JIRA for task and project management.
• Ability to write structured technical specifications for AI code agents and awareness of AI hallucinations, bias, licensing risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Experience integrating AI tools into coding, pull request reviews, documentation, and CI/CD workflows.
